Online booklet published: Adaptive Methodology for Para Swimming Coaching and Education

As part of the ParaSwInclusion project newly developed online booklet dedicated to adaptive training methodologies for para swimming has been created by a team of academicians from the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education (FSFV), University of Niš, led by Prof. Dr. Aleksandrović, in close cooperation with project partners. It represents a key knowledge output of the project and builds directly on the expertise and practical insights gained through international study visits, coaching courses, and capacity-building activities implemented.

This internet-based toolkit provides an optimized and adaptive methodology for working with people with disabilities in swimming sports, with a particular focus on para swimmers. It covers key aspects of adaptive physical training, inclusive coaching approaches, and practical guidance for teaching and training in para swimming, supporting both grassroots inclusion and high-performance development.

The booklet is intended for a broad target audience, including academicians, university professors, coaches, referees, and classifiers involved in para swimming and parasport more generally. Prepared in the local languages, it will be distributed through online channels, including social media, e-learning platforms, and the official websites of project partners.

By sharing this booklet, the project aims to contribute to the further development of Paralympic swimming in the Western Balkans and to support the inclusion of a larger number of people with disabilities through a wider, better-educated network of coaching and teaching staff.
