Within the framework of the project, two important reports have been prepared, providing a detailed overview of the current situation and specific needs in the field of para swimming in four participating countries (Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina).
🔹 D2.1 Report from the Analysis Conducted in Croatia and Serbia
This report examines the development of para swimming in Croatia and Serbia, covering the number and structure of athletes, coaches, availability of competitions and infrastructure, as well as key challenges such as limited financial resources, insufficient training opportunities for professionals, and low media visibility of para sports.
🔹 D2.2 Report from the Needs Assessment
The needs assessment conducted in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro reveals major gaps in information centralization, institutional support, and educational opportunities for both athletes and coaches. Compared to the more structured systems in Croatia and Serbia, the findings emphasize the urgent need for targeted interventions to improve classification processes, infrastructure, and training opportunities in the region.
By publishing these reports, the project lays the groundwork for further development of an inclusive sporting environment, stronger international cooperation, and sustainable strategies for the long-term advancement of para swimming.
