Analysis of the Current State of Para Swimming in Croatia and Serbia

As part of the project, an analysis of the current state of para swimming in Croatia and Serbia has been launched. This activity represents a key step toward improving conditions for the development and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the field of para swimming.

The goal of the analysis is to collect relevant data that will provide a comprehensive insight into:
– the number of active para swimmers,
– qualified personnel (coaches and referees) involved in parasport,
– the availability and quality of education in this field,
– infrastructure and conditions for training and competitions,
– the level of accessibility of sports facilities and programs for persons with disabilities.

The collected data will serve as the foundation for developing an e-platform within the ParaSwInclusion project, aimed at supporting sports professionals, organizations, and para swimmers, and strengthening the capacity for inclusive sports activities in the region.

We invite athletes, coaches, referees, educators, and representatives of sports organizations to participate in the survey and contribute to the development of higher quality and more inclusive para swimming.
